Before the change to the jungle that made it easier to clear for Ivern, he used to start 3x pots instead of refillable, and you needed to go into Hunter's for him to be able to continuously clear. That's what I expect he'll need to do again. He also sucked rear end when he had to do that

Lulu came back into popularity around the same time too.

How they fixed the issue, however, is classic Riot rubber band balance. If this is an over-correction, and it probably is, we'll see more tuning relatively quickly.

Except they didn't: he's still completely absurd in 7.10 statistically (#1 jungler on lolalytics) and it's because he's got unique outputs from the jungle and keeps all of his strengths, just has to be more careful and is a little more at risk while doing Ivern Things(tm).

i know this is kind of a meme at this point but i hope that whenever they nerf the support items that are making him intensely annoying to play against that they dont forget they nerfed a totally unrelated thing in iverns kit, since at least part of whats making him annoying is the shield stacking and the support items on a jungle budget (what a wild thing to be saying)

It's a better idea than random key fragments that cap out to a certain number per month using an arbitrary unknown drop rate and chests that drop once per champion per season.
