Hey Hashim, can we please get an update of the world soon? I am especially interested to know what happened to the regions of the world that we voted on. I'm a little confused how we are the first colonial power when West Africa started off with colonies in the New World. Did they not expand their holdings at all? I'm also rooting for the Red Turbans because their successful Korean invasion is awesome and hope that they will successfully reunify China soon.

Yeah, I should probably do one soon, I've been holding off mostly because terra incognita is hiding most of East Asia right now. Mali did start with an African colony in the New World, but they got destroyed in a very early war with Ghana, so the colony broke away and became independent (Faaninu).

The loss of that colony actually sounds extremely realistic. And no rush on the world update... You have been doing a great job with the LP! And oh my, Crusader Egypt does not gently caress around. Here is to hoping that they implode soon because they are blobbing hard and converting Muslim provinces faster than I thought was possible. I did not even expect them to survive this long. I wonder how faithful Muslims would try to journey to Mecca in this timeline with more and more of the Middle East's Mediterranean coastline and all of the land routes through the Sinai peninsula falling under control of the crusaders.   Looking at these two maps side by side made me realize that we really haven't grown our borders much at all since the start of EU4 relative to the craziness of North Africa, Middle East, Central Asia, and Northeast Asia. I'm going to stay with the Ulama because someone needs to keep nagging everyone else to convert the infidels, but the Taifas' goal of aggressive expansion is not a bad one.
