Is that not illegal because it sure looks like bullshit to me. I mean I'm a ducks fan and all but Perry and kesler are reallying pissing me off with all there cheap shots and bullshit

Most penalties get called less but I would place good money that interference calls decrease in frequency more than almost any other penalty.

I dunno, I don't mind the idea of a Pens Preds final. Plenty of teams I'd prefer over the Pittsburgh again, but the idea of a deep offence and good goalie (with a broken, poo poo D) going against a deep D and good goalie (with a broken kinda poo poo offence) doesn't sound all that bad. Or we have Ottawa and Anaheim and

Sens are practicing today. Seems to me like slamming the barn door after the cow's already getting scraped off the tracks, but I've never coached a hockey team. Shouldn't they have been perfecting ways to get around the things Pittsburgh's been doing the same way Sullivan had his guys practicing how to take advantage of an AHL defense all standing in the neutral zone and a goalie who can't find his posts? Or is this me just being idealistic again

Which Sen was it that ended up leaving the zone to help set up the third Pittsburgh goal? Somewhere, Sergei Kostitsyn saw that and either applauded or had a terrible flashback.

The fluff piece has some nice hidden gems like: quote:He recalled Tampa Bay’s inaugural game, when Chris Kontos scored his third of four goals. Only one fan commemorated the hat trick by tossing a cap onto the ice. He was then tossed out of the arena by an uninitiated security crew. (The team’s general manager, Phil Esposito, found the fan outside, took him back in and bought him a beer, Crisp said.)

Best part was right here: quote:Harden reflected on Nashville’s evolution during a recent drive with his wife, Paige. He flipped on the satellite radio to the NHL Network, where a caller from Alabama, in an accent thicker than Harden’s Texas twang, wanted to talk not about Rinne or Forsberg, Ryan Johansen or P. K. Subban, but about the team’s third defensive pairing.
