I kinda wish Bard and Machinist had one or two skills apiece that had cast bars same as the Samurai has a cast bar attack, just so it felt like you were lining up a called shot/snipe, but hell I don't actually play 'em so whatever

There is wrath, it's just a bar that goes up to 10 stacks, as opposed to a stacking buff that goes up to 5.

Infuriate only added 5 stacks. (or 50 to the bar.)

It sounds like it's not an actual Cover, just a damage reduction.

I gotta say it's weird to see a game designer who responds to player complaints with "okay we'll get rid of it" rather than by coyly designing increasingly elaborate workarounds in order to pretend that the initial thing was secretly a good idea.
