For the first time, we're opening up naming rights to the thread. This is a big deal for us as naming kittens is a whole lot of fun. If you want a name to be considered it must be on the theme of "aquatic animal". Can be a real animal or the name of a fictional one. But not Nemo. We can do better than Nemo. I'm gonna name one Pinny, short for Pinniped. Katdicks will name another Jelly. The rest are for you guys to decide! We haven't decided which kitties get which name. Sorry to interrupt kitten naming, but I have news!!! My foster came out of hiding!!!! I could tell she kinda wanted to come out, so last night as I was petting her, I slowly pulled my hand away and left it right outside her hiding spot. A split second later, there was her head, begging for more pets, and one second after that, her whole body came sliding out and trotting around. She got spooked once I sat up to watch her, and hid again, but she came back out shortly after and walked around some more. This morning, in the one or two minutes it took me to lock my car and go back in to check on her, she had left her old hiding spot and was settled in a new one, peeking curiously out at me. It's only been two weeks!
