I can't decide if the townsfolk or my Minions in Overlord II are my favorite thing about this game. The NPC's have a TON of funny lines for both the Destruction and Domination lines, and the Minions have so much character now. I could not stop smiling after they got into Legionnaire disguises and started whistling as we marched. :allears:

Also, for having very rudimentary physics, the boats in this game control surprisingly well!

They do indeed! They whistle a few other tunes as well, I love how Minions are just so full of character.

Also, if you slay a notable enemy or complete certain quests, sometimes special hats will drop and Browns can put these on. These include a gnome hat complete with fake nose, a yeti's intact head, and even entire dead peacocks.

One thing I like with Prey is it doesn't over-rely on Jump Scares, but it does do one or two hidden away just for what's clearly the fun of making one. Test the Looking Glass Screen by tapping here... here... here... BLAARRGGHPHANTOM!! Oh, and now an actual one's coming along, have fun sucker :allears:.

I also appreciate the fun little surprise when you go up in the Lobby Elevator. "Why's the power going out in the lift?... the lights have gone out and I hear a phantom...Crap."

He plays for the dreamers that forgot how to dream, and the lovers that forgot how to love.
Something in Viking: Battle for Asgard that I'd forgotten about that I liked, is that the completed areas count as completed (they turn blue) not just when everything is done, but when every part of that quest possible on that island is done, so the arena doesn't stay red just because you haven't learned all the moves yet - it turns blue when you have learned all the moves that the first island gives you even though you can see the rest of the list. It's a nice way of saying "OK, you can move on now. You should be good to beat the island, so good luck! :haw:" It keeps the player from obsessing over it, let's them know that they can forget about it for a bit and it's generally a nice Quality Of Life thing.

I also like the voice acting, because all the NPCs make an effort to sound like they at least have a vaguely nordic accent which is cute. :3:

I'm replaying Medal of Honor: Airborne and I really like how the ammo is handled. Instead of picking up ammo for a specific gun you pick up ammo for smgs or rifles. This allows you to run any mix of weapons without having to worry about ammo types.

That's been the FF battle victory theme since the very first game.

eta: There are a few exceptions in recent history, though, and they went back to the classic theme for XIV. This is one of my favorite Little Things: I especially love the music/jingle continuity in the DQ series, and the Zelda series, too.

That picture sets an unrealistic standard of people living in Montana. There are way too many of them, all of the men appear to have used haircare products recently, there are no land vehicles present going 90+mph, and I don't see any piles of Natural Light/Big Sky IPA cans.

I'm totally okay with a Far Cry game taking place in the rural US. I probably would've gone with Appalachia but hey, Montana's good.

I wish they'd stuck with the original idea of Jason Brody being the protagonist in 4, then doing that for every game. Each time he gets more ludicrously overpowered, and frustrated at how any holiday he takes turns into a war. Far Cry 10 has Jason nipping to the shops for a pint of milk only to be embroiled in World War 3. He starts out invulnerable and able to fly, by the end he turns into a ball of pure thought energy and leaves to start the next big bang.

I really hope its not just Far Cry 3: The Third Time (I guess Primal was a little different? Haven't played it yet)

For content, I liked how the use of different weapons to kill animals in FC4 gave you different levels of pelt loot. Highest return for using a knife or arrows (2 pelts from one kill + bait), basic return from using guns (1 pelt), and using explosives or fire would get you just a worthless (for crafting purposes, anyway) wrecked pelt.

I mean that's basically Saints Row.

I got to the Madagascar level in Uncharted 4. The huge driving segment up to the volcano was a cool hub area. You could drive straight to the objective or explore little sites and pick up treasure along the way while your boys trade stories.

Stealth got a huge improvement. Still kinda clunky and simple, but I appreciate the game offering choices to every encounter. Your buddies will take guys out too if they're close enough.
