the infinity ergodox is up on massdrop again and half sold out already: https://www.massdrop.com/buy/infinity-ergodox

i got this kit last year and it rules, i'm not a solder pro and didn't have any problems assembling it, including the per-key leds

firmware hacking on it is also fun and easy

i vaguely remember seeing some cad stuff in the 90s that did multimice but more as a modal thing, i.e. mice controlling a single "cursor" in two different coordinate spaces or one mouse doing UI and one mouse in the object space. but that was like back when the mouse came with the cad program and had the pad that had a printout buttons on it that it would track

nah feel free to post post post especially if a component of it is directly relevant

i wouldn't hesitate to talk about old school non-mechs (domes, f&f) or modern dome-likes (topre)

the only thing that kinda sucks is having someone talk on and on about their uninteresting 5$ generic dell keeb and how we're idiot nerds for spending bills on our idiot nerd hobby

i don't like to be reminded that i'm an idiot nerd with idiot nerd hobbies
