Button has won in Monaco

Sato has won the indy500

Davidson has won Le Mans.

You might've stopped watching Le Mans a lap too early last year...

Yeah, Honda's Indy engine is more powerful than Chevy's, but it's not like the F1 engine levels of reliablity... just the big teams (Andretti, really) tends to push theirs HARD.

first time I've watched the Indy 500, I actually enjoyed it - it helps to have someone to cheer for. If Alonso couldn't win I'm glad Sato did.

I do kind of feel that the first 400 of the Indy 500 is a bit of a waste of time. It's like that godawful qualifying format we had in F1 where they spend the first 10 minutes trundling around burning off fuel. It's "exciting" having lots of different leaders but also annoying when you support a driver to go from 1st to 9th to 4th to 7th for no apparent reason.

Not a single overtaking manoeuvre was recorded today, and all position changes were dictated by pitstops, though the grand prix was punctuated by a lap 61 Safety Car due to a collision between Jenson Button and Pascal Wehrlein

If they can't fix the racing at Monaco, then it's probably time to admit that F1 has outgrown the circuit and they should move it elsewhere.

There's just way too many ad breaks for me to watch this regularly. Having half the race under safety car doesn't make my balls tingle either.

I watched an illegal stream of BTSport which just had no commentary footage during the adbreaks, or it went to the BT guys. Also somehow Mike Conway seems like the most american sounding name ever but he's british and he drives for toyota wec which is kewl.

Hungaroring consistently offers up exciting racing specifically because it's a bit of a clown track.
