I get that the game is huge in the amount of pure HD space it needs but the way it's parceled out I don't even know how much is left, or how fast it's downloading.

Installs are supposed to run in the background this gen so you can at least watch Netflix or play something else while you wait. But GTA and a few other games won't install unless you're actively running the program, essentially holding the system hostage.
