In the 90's spheres were not trying to take over the Something Awful forums. We can't just look at how orbs (which are really just spheres, come on, everyone thinks this and we can acknowledge it) were then when the situation with them has changed so much.

Earlier someone mentioned those tiny things...I think the brand name was Zorbs. They were very small plastic balls, but you put them in water and they'd expand. They were advertised on TV, but let me tell you what -- they were not as cool or exciting as I thought. They are probably good for something, but I don't know what.
