I finally beat the internet. The end boss was hard.

In related news, ME3:MP is still alive and kicking- with actual new people still hopping in now that it's playable on both the Bone and 360 for us xblive people.

I was playing a couple of rounds in ME:A the other day and all of a sudden really wished I had a Saber- any rank. Just to remember what a DMR-type gun should sound and hit.

I see why they made the engine changes they did for sp and added that 3rd dimensional movement outside of ladders. It adds a lot to level design options and the movement feels good.

But the mp team just clearly didn't get what made me3mp so drat good. It's a weird copy that looks the same but just doesn't scratch the same itch.

I'm still rocking this game.

Honestly I don't mind the reskinned common S gold guns since I always found the common guns to be the most fun except for their low damage. It's the ultra rares that are the binding constraint long-term anyway -- even with the 5 new yellows you'll still cap them all before capping your ultra rares.

Yeah, I'm still playing this, although not with the same length as before (1 or 2 hours a night, instead of 4 or 5).

I'm not entirely sure what the complaints are now (besides adding the 5 no-effort rares). After the good buff patch, the game feels impactful and fun; every class is good and every weapon (except the Zalkin and Sweeper, maybe?) is also good.

I've been in matches with people who were doing some kind of magic to make the Zalkin good, but I dunno the details.

The reskinned weapons would be far less offensive if they were Uncommons. There are way too many Rare weapons and hardly any Uncommons.

I mean, I've been playing a lot more than most casuals/pubbies and I still only have an Equalizer 3, Talon stuck at 5 forever, etc.

So apparently cyrobeam 6A, snap freeze, does like 3x the damage of a cryo combo, but is cancelled if you actually detonate the cryo combo or if someone else kills them, but it does apply if the enemy was frozen by something else, including cryo barrels, cryo ammo, other people freezing stuff, and so on. Snap freeze can also trigger chain reactions.

Those are all welcome changes. If they continue to work on it I'll be pleased. There's elements of a good game here even of it does still need a lot of polish.

The current MP is good and cool too bad this is how it should of been at launch. Can't relate to the other posters that say they can't find a game though. I was able to consistently host a match and get a full group with a minute. I guess stop living in the boondocks

We’re continuing to improve weapon and power balance based on player feedback and our own tests.

In particular, we’ve addressed weapon bloom and accuracy. We’ve halved the maximum reticle size for automatic weapons and decreased the speed at which it reaches maximum size. We’ve improved accuracy for these weapons across the board.

Melee balance has also been addressed. We wanted melee builds to be viable for some kits at all difficulty levels, and to reduce reliance on the Juggernaut Shield. We’ve buffed base damage of nearly all melee attacks and introduced more passive bonuses to skill trees. We’ve reduced the melee bonus on the Juggernaut Shield to make it less of a required factor for these builds.

We’re addressing issues with teleporting enemies and reducing unfair sync kills. We paid particular attention to the Fiend, reducing its speed and preventing sprinting once it gets within 10 meters of a target. We’ve prevented enemies from sync attacking for two seconds after they jump up to a different level.

We’ve also made improvements to our pack offerings. For those of you looking to round out your roster, we introduced the Reserves Pack, a premium pack focused on characters. And if what you’re hoping for is that gun you’ve been missing, there’s now the Arsenal Pack. To speed up your refreshes between rounds, we’ve added a Jumbo Supply pack that contains five times as many consumables as a regular supply pack. Finally, you’ll now be able to purchase a Mod Pack from the item store, which contains a random weapon mod.

Remnant

Increased Assembler weapon damage by 10%.
Changed Assembler firing pattern from 4–8 shots per salvo to 4–9.
Damage spike at the end of the Destroyer damage field now ignores player’s health gate.
Observers now have a short charge-up time before attacking.

Outlaws

Converted the Pariah’s armor bar evenly into health and shields
Hydra’s sync attack wind-up is 20% faster and kills the target if successful
