not really, the last two updates were "i'm talking to xenforo about when 2.0 is coming out, might migrate to that if it's soon" and "talking to xenforo about how much a migration would cost, we'll see how it goes". it would have been nice to share with us the new information that apparently the cost and waiting time are acceptable so he's decided on using xenforo 2.0 and now has to wait helplessly for it to be released

the thing about lowtax is he's good at dishing out and encouraging the kind of humour that thrives here, but when he's in the crosshairs of it he doesn't take the piss nor does he start making fun of himself with them so they know he doesn't care what they think of him or whatever there's a phrase for it but I can think of it rn

i thought it was pretty...karmic? how that doxxing a few months ago stopped when someone (presumably a goon) doxxed the lead doxxer back and emailed horrific stuff to his mom's workplace and got her fired, and the guy immediately took down the website saying it got "too real" like, there's no winners here (and i feel sick imagining the kind of person who has child pornography, it supposedly was, sitting around to email to people to blackmail them) but it's like watching two douchebags racing each other on the freeway crash into each other and wreck both their cars.
