I definitely think IJ2 has the better single player experience of the two games. But Tekken 7 is just so much a better game.

All Story Mode does is explain why Heihachi hates devils so much. Though Kazuya is pretty awful himself in ways that aren't just wanting revenge on his Dad. All Mishimas (except Lee) are just awful.

Jin has caused more death, despair and general armageddon than everyone else in the series combined, several times over. This would be ok I guess if he was like Kazuya and Heihachi and grinning and generally loving the poo poo out of being a jackass but he's just a morose idiot. And somehow we're supposed to root for him in the upcoming battle against his dad?

I'm playing that as well and love it there too, but, and maybe I'm remembering wrong, doesn't Injustice also manage to have people always start opposite ends neutral stance kinda? I like that Tekken just drops you right into the fight, where Injustice seems to set it up, albeit prettier.

jin started world war 3 in order to bait out a super devil so he could kill it. i feel like he could have juts not started world war 3 and left azazel sleeping instead but hell ive never had any experience running a multinational corporation responsible for experimental weapons r&d, mma tournaments and pizza delivery, what do i know?

Lars is a Mishima by blood and Lee's adopted. So he definitely counts I forgot Jinpachi and Kazumi though. Kazumi's above Kazuya because of cool fire wings and Tigers. Jinpachi is above Lars for being genuinely nice and a good person and that's rare for a Mishima and should be appreciated.

I approve of this change because I have friends that have been throw whores for 20 years and looking for the right or left hand to break it is pretty much impossible. Command throws have always been trickier to break, though once your friend who only knows one variation of King's multi-grapple's grabs you it's easier because you know what's coming.

Someone here put it best when saying the storyline of Tekken is basically a pro-wrestling feud. It's a story of I really wish the non main storyline characters got more time to shine, though.

Every day, even if I only play for 30 minutes and watch Knee for a match or two, I feel like another piece of the puzzle is revealed to me. Maybe I don't know where it fits yet, but just even knowing it's there is like a revelation. I remember the first time I watched Aris's video on how to create a strategy by linking moves together with movement, and suddenly watching Korean Tekken videos took on a whole new level. Once someone explained just how brutal Leo's 50/50s and CHs are, I realized I was focusing far too much on fishing for launches and not bullying my opponent into giving me launches. It's like I'm decoding the matrix, one glowy green letter at a time. What I'm trying to say here is that I loving love this game.

i posted this in the fg discord but just so you know BORDERLESS AND WINDOWED MODE CAUSE MORE INPUT LAG. Windows 7+ forces every window to have vsync at the OS level. This is because of Desktop Window Manager. If you are fullscreen, DWM doesn't do anything to the window. If you are on Win7, you can disable this by using the Basic theme or "Disable desktop composition" for the specific program you want. If you are on Win8/10 you are boned so get hosed. Other options: $$$$ GSync monitor works as long as your FPS is close to your max refresh rate.
