I know the Jays can't really be picky these days but can this please be the end of Carrera in left. Call up Dwight Smith Jr, or anybody. Someone who at least looks like they know what they're doing.

It's very, very hard for me to complain about this season at all. It's a bad outing, literally every other team in baseball has dealt with far worse than this. I'll start to get a little worried if we lose five in a row.

They still have a fairly easy schedule (in theory) in June Two more @KC with their best two starters going, three at home against the Troutless Angels, three at home against the Rangers (ugh the curse...), three at home against Boston (legit tough series), four at Oakland, three at Seattle, three at home against Oakland Feelin' good but still disappointed But for god's sake DFA Aoki, he's bad and has no future on this team. Bring Fisher up Or send him somewhere else for everyone's favorite player Cash Considerations

I'm torn on Aoki. His NPB stats are great and he's interesting to watch because the Astros never had anyone from the NPB when I watched as a kid, but he's done next to nothing for us in the last few weeks and he's had a couple lovely plays in the outfield. His lack of offense isn't really hurting us that bad, but that's partly because everyone else is doing more than their fair share.
|
# ? Jun 7, 2017 08:12 |
|
He's 35 and has always hovered around league average OPS+ (until this year, in which he's way below it!) When he does play, he plays left field Fisher is destroying AAA and really has nothing left to prove, and Aoki is the obvious move to make to create a spot for Fisher As for NPB players, we had Kaz Matsui

As an M's fan well familiar with Nori Aoki I encourage Houston to start him as often as possible so there is at least one reliable out in their lineup. It's only fair to the rest of us.

Just for the oddity of the 2017 Royals somehow being good against the best team in the league while having two regular starters hitting below the Mendoza line and a handful of other guys who aren't a whole lot better. I also hope Jason Vargas pitches well enough that you guys might be interested in renting him, even though he's a junkball lefty coming off of TJS. If there's anything you guys should want to add it'd be starting pitching right? shirts and skins posted:As an M's fan well familiar with Nori Aoki I encourage Houston to start him as often as possible so there is at least one reliable out in their lineup. Do the Royals still see a million pitches per AB? If so they're uniquely suited to deal with 2017 "lowest percentage of pitches in the zone in the league" Keuchel
