You will notice that they didn't say the worm is in 3.0.

So players may or may not encounter the worm for the first time... in 2020.

Maybe us goons have no imagination and are therefore too unintelligent to enjoy the immersion of Star Citizen?

Earth needs to be detailed and full of content posted:

Intelligence = The ability to imagine

(excuse my english)
Most of us gamers, specialy the sim and rpg gamers, have an above average ability to imagine. This is also why many of us like to play on higher then normal difficulties, because we can imagine how the game wolrd and mechanics work better then the average gamer and use this knowledge, which (on the really good games created by imaginative creators) help you see the world as its creator ment.
The ability to imagine also direcly connected to the ability to feel "Immersed". And therefor- you enjoy the game more because your senses become activated and invloved.

For me, the best experience I could imagin on the day of release- Is to begin on earth. Maybe looking for a job to earn cash to buy the right to leave earth. Something that will hold be busy on planet Earth at least for 1 realtime day. I would not want to force it, maybe CIG can only make it an option you can choose.

Why whould I want that?
Because I wanna be curious about what's outside Earth. I wanna feel like I need to make my dream come true and go for a ride to watch beatiful ice rings surrouning swearling purple gas planet, and then meet other cultures and find my spot in the huge verse.
Please don't hand me all the goodies right at start. I don't want to have access for all the game features.
Please give me the chance to use my imagination and maximize my immersion from step one.

I don't really like your new stamina system, so please add collectible recipes, a military chef profession, malnutrition, vomit, and make the kitchens in our spaceships usable.

Cooking and E.T dining (~KP Duty) posted:

After watching and reading about stamina I decided that to think about ways they might implement it in a realistic way. While I read little about the stamina system other than after a jog in heavy armor you will black out like the similar nature from G-force. Honestly I do not like stamina, but I understand why it was implemented in a way to keep the simulation more reality than fun unless the reality breaks the rule of cool.

My idea is to keep stamina, but add cooking and a new job to keep personnel from dehydrating, malnutrition, starvation, over-eating, and possibly scurvy  .

Cooking (KP DUTY)
KP duty refers to Kitchen patrol in U.S Enlisted Military Personnel; while I am not a military, I enjoy researching to get a good idea.
This job would be recruited by other players or NPC Military/Organizations, the job would to prepare cuisines for a large or small crew by making stops at trade areas or ''simply'' pirating off from others. Recipes can be found as loot from derelicts or purchased for different foods that give boosts up to 5 in-game hours. Beware that poisoning a crew might reserve yourself in a immediate airlock or prison.

Affects/Effects on Stamina
Certain meals have different affects/effects on a player. For example eating a chocolate every meal will slow your stamina down later on, but give you quick burst of energy for 30 minutes., eating fruit will boost your stamina regen and energy throughout the day, but less significant compared to sweets. Eating both would make you have side affects like malnutrition/purging slowing your speed by x1.5. Eating too much will cause the player to regurgitate resulting in slower speed and a possible blackout.
Tl:dr Eating too much results in slower body movement, eating to many things together results in purging/malnutrition. Meaning you will have to choose what will help you for the day from your cook.

Recipes
Old books of lost recipes and/or data terminals will allow the cook of a ship to increase moral for NPC's or boosts to crew health/stamina. These boosts will be better than eating a single apple or banana, they will cure malnutrition and decrease possibility of starvation. Recipes can be traded and sold as cargo/data.

Ships/Kitchen Modules
While this is not a idea, I know there are currently kitchens. This just means cooking might become a small essential thing later on after 3.0 and most likely 3.2. I just hope it becomes a full module thing for bigger ships requiring all type of skilled workers including people who know how to keep crew mates from starving.

*Notice I am not a sous-chef or a executive chef for a french restaurant or Benny's noodles...Nor am I a expert in nutrition facts or the USDA. I am a common surf that has ideas that are most likely thought about from the devs of SC.

Thank you...scurvy pirates.
