Even if we classify Yakuza 0 as an RPG (I'd call it a brawler if anything but I can accept people calling it an RPG if they want) it's nowhere near as good a game as Persona 5. I find fans of Yakuza 0 are willfully ignoring that the game has tons of bad gameplay design and straight up unfun poo poo in it. This isn't coming from someone who dumped an hour into the game and quit, as I have the platinum trophy in the game. Yakuza 0's combat is piss easy unless you play on hard where it's only hard because they at times handicap you with the most unfun bullshit like escort fights where you will only lose because the escort getting held even once on the hardest mode loses almost half her health, and guns taking half your healthbar. The combat system is kinda fun but becomes boring when Majima is literally "use one combo to wreck every single fight" The JCC is a loving abomination of a mini game, and real estate is kinda fun at first but gets boring fast. Other mini games are hit and miss. Yakuza 0 is a pretty good game but there's a lot of boring, unfun stuff that got crammed in there as well. Some people just amazingly overhype the game when I'd say it's pretty good at best. I'd recommend Nier before I'd recommend Yakuza 0, and Persona 5 is easily my GOTY.

Yakuza actually lets you play the claw machine game and Persona does not, so Yakuza is better.

Finally bought Horizon: Zero Dawn. Sony's Days of Play retailer sale combined with a Toys 'R' Us Rewards code that was randomly sent to me the other week got it down to $25 before shipping.

How can I customize my main menu area? The bar which lists all the games I play and apps I have. I have only 2 or 3 apps I use, and the rest are games. How can I add and remove things from that?

I have one for games in progress Games ive finished System apps And fighting games Nothing in a folder will ever drop off the menu or change order based on use. Folders cant drop off the menu but can themselves shuffle based on use

So glad we finally got folders. I got one for Disc games installed, one for digital, and want that I call "gently caress you Playstation Vue and Share Factory get off my dash".

I uninstalled share factory a long time ago, and then recently, I re-downloaded it because they added a feature to make gifs with it. so bad. Completely worthless.

lol I can't even add apps I want to a folder what a stupid system. What is the reasoning behind this even? Does sony not think people will want to set up their consoles how they want? Did apple really make the playstation 4?

it took ages just to get folders and the most rudimentary of library filtering, dont hold your breath on much else before ps5 dont worry though, they are spending tons of time on communities or some other dumb poo poo.

It still pisses me off that they took away the ability to delete notifications and old party/chat invites. Like what the gently caress possessed them when myself and most likely others just wanted a Delete All/Delete Multiple system like when deleting anything off the HDD. Why yes I want all these out of date invites to stay forever, and make sure I have to delete upload/download notifications one at a time. And make sure if I have too many of those notifications then the console will refuse to download/upload anything new.

They stop scrolling on the dash if you look at the list once and then you can forget about them

I'm sure that the inability to remove noticications now is for a future update where ads are now pop ups in the notification window which can be bypassed with the new playstation plus plus subscription.

I feel like I've seen it mentioned the spend $100 get $15 deal started on Tuesday several times in this thread, but the terms and conditions say it started today and the notice on the store didn't show up until today. I'm glad I didn't fall for that trick.

I had that happen with the old system. edit: ^ yeah, it had to do with failed uploads. What happened is one time I had to backup and format and system restore, and some kind of locally stored hulu file (probably to track my watch habits) then bitched forever that it couldn't upload to the server because there was a timestamp mismatch between files, because of the backup and restore. So it tried and failed to upload this every week for like a year, and then one day, I couldn't download anything until I manually deleted like a hundred of these notifications.

Ended up buying Prey for $40. I think its absoluete bullshit what they did to Human Head and I would rather have whatever they cooked up over a wannabe system shock/bioshock clone but I've enjoyed every Bethesda game this gen and the demo was intriguing so I figured I'd might as well get it on sale.

Last Guardian and Watch Dogs 2 are about $25 right now. I know they are very different games but gun to head, which one would you get? Been kind of wanting to play both.
