Imagined posted:What's the fallacy called where you assume that a service industry job is equivalent to a manufacturing job? The total number of jobs might not decrease but what we actually care about are the number of GOOD jobs. A hundred-ish years ago factories and mines were terrible jobs, not GOOD jobs. You'd toil away in terrible conditions for 12-16 hours a day.
