Eromame is great, I loved their Splatoon stuff and I'm glad to see they've gotten into Kemofure as well. In other news, the OST and Japari Cafe album are out! The version of the OP with Kaban is very cute.

So thread, I'm thinking of just throwing together a Kaban cosplay for Otakon because there's bound to be a billion dudes doing it and I might as well latch onto the bandwagon. My wife is toying with putting an outfit together. She can sew, and she'll tolerate a wig if it's short, but help me think of Friends that she can go as that aren't Serval or Fennec (already on the table as options). Difficulty level: preferably an outfit that can be worn on a Metro train to/from the convention with props/accessories in a bag.

Honestly lots of the characters would be fun cosplay, there are plenty of fun duos like Moose and Lion, Raccoon and Fennec, and the Foxes. If you're dead set on Kabane and Friend I think Shoebill is a good choice, just have to get a good wig to go with the costume.

She doesn't have bangs so we're not sure how the M would work for Serval but that's leaning towards the top choice, either that or a humanized Lucky Beast. Or if we can find blue leopard print fabric, there's always Mirai.

Tigers and lions, humans and gorillas share common ancestors, but dogs are descended directly from wolves. Tigers and lions do not produce fertile offspring. Dogs and wolves can and do reproduce in the wild to produce healthy, fertile pups. Dogs are just a highly divergent subspecies for the most part, although it's likely that they will eventually become incompatible in the future.
