Hey Destiny Goons, I have a question. I've never played Destiny. I used to play shooty-mans all the time as a kid, Halo 1-2 specifically, until I started playing WoW with a goon guild (whatup <Relax>). I basically quit gaming when I went to college, and I've been out of the country for a few years so I couldn't really play anything cooperatively because of time difference. However, I'll likely be moving back stateside soon and going to school again. My girlfriend will be out of the country until at least 2018, so it, uh, behooves me to have my free time be something other than going out drinking all the time. Does this game have a good goon community? Or at least a really active one? I like grindy MMOs and shooty online games, but the thing that really sells me is having a solid, consistent group of people to play with. If I play on PS4 can I count on having people to reliably do whatever you do in Destiny to drink and chat with? And is it something I can just hop on and play a few games of, and not have to have some sort of rigid "Raid starts at 9:00 EST and will finish between 1-2:00" scheduling? I won't have a huge amount of spare time, and I definitely won't be able to have a set schedule of being online, but I'd like a game that I can hop on and kill things and chat with goonz.

Yeah ps4 has heaps of dudes and the goons from the US Ive played with have been cool dudes. Theres like 3 ps4 goon groups i think. Xboners are just post heavy.

Adventures are replayable. The Exo Stranger is probably never going to be followed up on. Power ammo pickups are now called out with a named location and what power weapon you have equipped. Weapon energy/kinetic affinity is a property of the item and not random. Internal tech changes that make it easier to rebalance one weapon independently of its class.

Not to be a downer, but is anyone a little disappointed by what they've shown so far? I'm not sure what I was expecting, maybe a greater departure from Destiny 1 in some way I can't define. It just looks like...more Destiny and I haven't seen anything that won't make the endgame any less stale. I'm probably just being over critical or something but eh
