I love my local buy, swap, sell group. I moved to a small country town which has an older demographic and is small enough that it's one of those situations where nearly everyone knows everyone else so it's full of people not understanding how technology works, airing their dirty laundry and strange oddities. So, it is the 150th anniversary of Confederation In Canada, and it's really being pushed as this great thing to celebrate and such from some quarters. Others, of course, are pointing out there isn't all that much to celebrate. Responses are half okay, but the other half are hilariously lovely. A sampler:  Not included are countless "We are celebrating that we have progressed so far and no longer do this." and "You can't blame people today for what their ancestors did."
