Mario looks to have some serious get-up-and-go in this one, he really goes from 0 to 60 in a snap. I hope it feels as good as it looks. I also didn't make the connection until I saw the behatted T-Rex that you can possess anything with a hat. I hope there's a puzzle in the game where there is a collectible on top of a platform that would be trivial for Mario to get to, but you have to get up there as a regular human person.
