How do the mastery taunts work exactly? I know how to do them, but what exactly changes when you hit the next tier? It seems like with Zeratul at 50 I'm doing the same taunt I did last night pre-patch. NM I see it's just the emblem. Maybe, being in a non-standard location might cause an issue with clearing old, unneeded data. It could just as easily be that HotS doesn't clear some old data as well, seeing as yours is only a couple months old while mine is a couple years old, or it could be something else entirely since I know next to nothing about installation/updating procedures. All I know is that this is what's taking up most of that space.

Why do they insist on making these events "play with a friend". It just makes queues longer (like 5+ minutes...), and I asume people just grab randos from the lfg channel for it anyway. At least D3 wings are a neat reward though!

I cleaned out the HeroesData > data folder and after Scan & Repair it went from nearly 20 gigs to 9.5 gigs. Just think of all the space I just made for indie games that I will never get around to playing.

Perhaps they keep previous patch data on your computer to enable playing old replays? Just a theory, but you can test it. Try playing your oldest replay, then do a fresh install, then try playing your oldest replay again. It should make you wait as it downloads the legacy patch information before it plays your replay the second time. edit: do not play Murky with Fish Eye. The size thing is a confirmed "issue" that has been around for a while. Just uninstall and do a fresh reinstall. Heroes keeps all the old version to allow you to watch replays. If you uninstall and reinstall, then it will go back down to ~9GB, but it will require you to download updates if you try to watch a replay that was from a different patch. It's dumb.
