If Kat doesn't have means to make water hot she has no right to call herself a roboticist. I'm sure she rigged up a reasonable kettle in order to make that tea.

It's stated very clearly that Kat doesn't have the means to make tea. Which can only mean Robot has a built-in kettle in his new body.

I am going through the archives and I am loving just how consistent this is with Kat's character. The moment there's a chance of other people being in love Kat gets that look on her face, hahah. She just can't resist romance.

You know, the Court probably should have quashed the whole "robots gives love notes" to students if they didn't want this sort of thing to happen. The "don't date robots" PSA is such a poor response at that point.

The "don't date robots" PSA is such a poor response at that point. it's been clear ever since like chapter 12 that the court has no control over how the robots conduct their business. it's explained later that diego infused his creations with his warped sense of romanticism, but it makes sense that they would be kept around anyway, since they're pretty darned useful, those robots

"All my friends were doing it at the time" makes me imagine that there was just one robot who had true romantic feelings at one point but that a bunch of other robots imitated him because of their tendency to be followers. Which is adorable in and of itself.
