This thread has probably repeated the same stories many times over the past 200+ pages, so this has probably already been talked about, but I love HondaRider's demodding and banning. He told a heroin addict that rehab is stupid and she should take LSD instead (probably the context for the end of that Duncan/triticum guzzler post). Somebody made a QCS thread about it, he stepped down when Ozma requested it, and he whined about it in that thread and was banned. I think he still regularly posts on Something Sensitive.

"Don't go to rehab take LSD" isn't the damning thing about him being demodded, and it's what he latched onto. In his mind, all of the above paragraph is correct, and he was just helping!

Rule 1 (probably 3 or lower lets be honest harm reduction via druggie forum is garbage) of TCC is basically "DO NOT GIVE MEDICAL ADVICE USING SCHEDULED DRUGS" because that poo poo is destructive and needs to be handled by an actual doctor. Honda tried to play The Goon Doctor for her, openly in front of the whole forum who is told "DONT TELL PEOPLE TO TAKE ILLEGAL DRUGS TO HELP THEIR ILLEGAL DRUG PROBLEMS"

He didn't just give bad advice without a medical degree, he did it as an authority on the harm reduction forum. And he has held a grudge ever since, never realizing that he wasn't banned for just being an idiot in a form of authority, he was banned for doing the worst possible thing as a drug forum mod. He was extra triple stupid and still doesn't own it. He could have directed her to any form of rehab options that aren't just "go detox and probably relapse" but instead gave advice like he was those options.

I'm not explaining away his actions as being good at heart, but this is an extra layer of context which should be even more damning. The mod description should basically say "never give medical advice" and his first real idea of helping is "I should pretend I'm a doctor! "
