I loved those actually, like way more than I probalby should've. It's like, "take I, Robot and now it's also Dirty Harry" and then make it a book. They were all amazing. Robots and Empire was 90% great but also 10% groanworthy. I've adored every single book from this series I've read except for The Stars, Like Dust which was great in the sense of having the most insanely terrible ended I've ever read in any book ever

Just the whole thing with Asimov so far has been great like Okay we're going to have a multi-millenia epic of intrigue and empires dying and falling and the brave acts of individual men, but also it's all going to take place in conference rooms and over drinks in fine rooms in large estates
