It makes catching a clutch decision and healing a matter of 'do I need to save this for the Elite Four' while not making the game a rage/grindfest like Nuzlocke or whatever. Gotta Catch what I think will be a valuable asset to my team.

I think that was probably the biggest disappointment I've ever had in using a new pokemon.
