Just rewatched the "squeeze his hand off!" scene, which Dougie does not do, but I guess he gets close enough that it left part of Ike The Spike's skin stuck to the gun which is what the cops pull off of it.

Holy poo poo this episode! So many great moments! I had a thought right before that maybe when Dougie saw the boxing poster of his boss, that would be an indication that his boss would pull out his old boxing skills to knock out Ike and save Cooper. What we got was so much better!

I don't think that was skin - it looked a lot like the non-garmonbozia veiny stuff that shows up when there's a Lodge manifestation. At least, I think I've seen it in this season when that's happened, and it was the other colors when Dougie and Dopple-Coop threw up, and I feel like it showed up another time as well.
