And Denmark has relatively few labor market protections. Denmark's only major protections are safety requirements and requiring notice when you are being fired (if you have worked there for a certain amount of time). Denmark has fairly high labor mobility and does not actively try to protect individual's employment. They have a strong safety net and rules that favor employers to promote fluidity in the private labor market. That is very different from a government union or policies that make it difficult to fire people.
