But the 3D World levels are no more linear than Galaxy levels. They just have a flag instead of a Star at the end.

I haven't given a ton of thought to why, but they do seem much more limiting. Movement is very much minimized in 3DW vs Galaxy. It's as if Galaxy Mario was stuck in molasses. Also 3DW is really fun and I loved it but its replay value (IMO) is poo poo compared to Galaxy or 64.

Release Super Mario Allstars 2 But it's just HD rereleases/ports of - 64 - Sunshine - Galaxy - Galaxy 2 - 3D World - New Brothers Wii - New Brothers U - Luigi U And all the controls/split screen crap is fixed to work with the Switch I would gladly pay over $200 for such a collection

The time limit killed 3d world for me. I like to explore and my family is bad at games, so coop mode was really stressful.

I wouldn't mind a rerelease of 3D World because I never finished it after the disc went bad. If it came with 64, Sunshine, and the Galaxies, so much the better.

I mean, the Galaxy games are ones which make it a real shame that Nintendo have fairly ambitious ideas of what a rerelease should look like, because I would leap at a chance to pick both of them up with a simple bump to 720p (redrawing actual ui chrome, but I can easily live with the models and textures as they were on the Wii). The ambition makes it unlikely that they'll do that though, so I'll just have to hope they do the going-all-out remaster instead.

I rebought Super Mario Galaxy the other day. Everyone should play at least it (if not also SMG2) because it's great. I've also finally been able to start playing Super Mario Sunshine, which I've never played despite owning for years.

I wish I wasn't terrible at fighting games cause I can see the fun in ARMS but holy crap I could tell from the demo I just dont have it to really play it well. Same with Smash 4

Same with Smash 4 Ugh, same here, 100%. Arms looks really fun but I am so terrible at it.  The demo wasn't any fun for me because of how much I sucked at it. I wish I could play fighting games worth a drat.

You don't have to be good at fighting games to enjoy Arms, you just have to be willing to learn the heroes and the weapons. The rest of it is just rock paper scissors with jumping and dodging.
