When they passed out body parts in the comics today, I got Cathy's nose and Dick Tracy's private parts.
I think the dad in Baldo might me nearly as lovely as Ed Kudlick. He's constantly making GBS threads on his son for being a regular teenager instead of some sort of academic ubermensch.

The people were ASTONISHED at his doctrine.

Due to a combination of work, travel, more work, and generally trying to cut back on the amount of James Allen in my life, I'm afraid I have to drop my strips (That'd be Mark Trail, Pearls Before Swine, The Phantom, Pooch Café, and Slylock Fox). Feel free to pick them up if you're so inclined.

Alternatively, enjoy emancipation from the tyranny of bad, bad drawings and bad, bad puns.

Thanks for letting us know so they don't disappear without anyone noticing. Incidentally, I was planning to quit this thread at the end of the year but really want to get through the second season of Mother From Another Country first and ach, I'm behind schedule.

1. Nobody takes a candle bath in the only bathroom on Diarrhea Day. This is how you learn.

2. Would have given this strip props if Toni had done a callback to yesterday and yelled at TJ to just use the kitchen. Or I would have feigned puking. Hard to say.

3. This strip is transparently setting up a plotline where Brad and Toni kick TJ out so they can have the house to themselves (or at least threaten to). Hey, Brad and Toni, TJ is essentially your unpaid live-in servant. Cut him some slack. It's Diarrhea Day.

Or, you know, be adults and pull the curtain so you both have privacy. If he's sick it's not going to sound great but you're both adults.

Ahahaha, American schools are lucky if they have the time & funding for classes that aren't part of standardized tests. Coincidentally we have a lot of people who are helpless the first time they have to cook/mend clothing/etc.

I got a sewing class as part of home ec in middle school, but it didn't go in-depth enough for any of it to stick. Same with cooking - I know we cooked something in home ec, but I'll be damned if I remember any of it. All the cooking skills I have were picked up from parental guidance & figuring poo poo out on my own later.
