The number one reason I like AoT is it has the Stock Shonen Protagonist, takes his attitude to its logical conclusion, then dumps him in a world that's populated by relatively reasonable people who look at him and go "this guy's a loving insane and incredibly dangerous psychopath", and treat him as such, alternating between making GBS threads on him and using him to further their own goals. So, AoT satisfies my shonen deconstruction itch, which means what little this show has going for it offers me nothing.
