I've never heard Snezz in my life. Always Super Nintendo or S-N-E-S. Maybe this is like a regional thing, like soda vs. pop vs. Coke? Or wash vs. warsh?

I have never played Cave Story. I think I should get it for Switch cause it's supposed to be decent?

Do note though that the freeware PC version is absolutely fine still (I would call it largely definitive, the additions are at times nice, but mostly messes with perfection), so make sure you see value in having on the Switch specifically.

Hi Switch thread,

I call it:
Super Nintendo
S.N.E.S.
and Sness

Like sometimes I say dollars and sometimes I say bucks. I don't know where people are getting the ZZ at the end from though. What is wrong with you people.

Also I will be buying 3 classics if I can, 1 to play, 1 to worship, and 1 for my 5 year old godson for Christmas.

I will also purchase and and all of the 21 games on the Switch VC if it ever exists.

Thank you for reading my post and may god bless these united states.

Snezz is because I am British. A bit like the name Les sounds like Lez and not Less.

Hey, both of you.

I liked my slightly subpar Ess En Eee Ess versions.

And I still think Firepower 2000 was rad.

A FUCKIN CANARY!!

It says "Super Nintendo" in large letters on the box and right on the console itself. I've never felt a need to make up new names for it.

Guys what kind of screen protector should I get for my En Ess Zee?? If I get an adapter can I play games on it with my old Guckin controller???

Though I guess I would have been more upset if they released a WiiU version right as I got rid of my WiiU.

e: Is snake pass on sale right now? I was looking at it in the eShop yesterday and I didn't notice that. Will have to check when I get home tonight because that was a "I want it but I'll wait until it's on sale" game.

e2: Oh duh I can check and buy online. How convenient. Guess I own Snake Pass now :3:

Ahh, but Darkness has two s at the end, thus giving it the sound ess.

SNES has one s. So like a hard z sound. Like Les or Sparkles.

Sup, "backed it on Kickstarter and wants to play it on my Nintendo" buddy?

They keep saying Switch version is coming, but it'd be nice if they'd give us a release date already!

Every time I pick up my Switch I realize how exciting it. It's exciting to take it off the dock and into the kitchen on my play stand.

It's dope to slot the joy cons, take it to the side of the stove and stir dinner while I finish up a shrine in BotW.

It's such a unique way to play.

I can't wait for Super Mario World.

I want to play a game on this piece of poo poo but apparently all developers are avoiding this should be vaporware. At least I'll have that Zelda trial thing.

I feel like I should make better use of it, but my TV is so big and my couch is so comfortable that I just enjoy flopping down to play me some Zelda.

Unless someone wants to invite me to a rooftop party.

Hasn't 8Bitdo already figured out how to do that?
8bitdos controllers are BT, the Pokken controllers are USB. The reason I was most interested is that i mentioned the Pokken controller update to the guy who created the Blissbox and now he is working on updating the firmware so you can use the Blissbox with the Switch. So hopefully soon, pretty much any controller ever made will be Switch compatible.

Ventana posted:

This neogaf poster said he could get a USB hub to work and could get 2 pokken controllers and a third controller working at the same time.
