I know of one guy that works for a company here in Canada, his job is delivery driver. Since being hired he has; - t-boned a marked police cruiser in the middle of an intersection - rear ended a car with a pregnant lady inside, forcing her into labour - got on the highway going in the wrong direction and just recently - created an accident so bad it shut down a very busy street for a few hours and made the news he is still employed by the company, and still drives everyday for them

Scenario: the police pull over a driver who has a suspended licence, the car is unregistered and unroadworthy (literally held together with electrical tape) and he has three outstanding warrants. The cops inform the driver that they're impounding the car and he replies with "If you try to take this car from me it's not going to end well." The .50AE that the girl shot her boyfriend with produces about ten times as much energy when leaving the muzzle as the .22 in the flask test. There's other factors in play like a larger cross section of bullet being easier to stop but it was a hell of a lot of gun to be pointing at someone you say you don't want dead. I try not to attribute to malice what can be put down to incompetence, and there's an infinite supply of the latter in the world.
