Arsene can't wax poetic about missed signings if he actually bids properly.

Lol why in gently caress would you offer a 34 year old a 3 year contract when even 2 would be pushing it.

Rumors that Inter's Perisic will sign a new contract rather than joining Man United.

I'm not disappointed. 50M for him would have been a lovely transfer.

he's scored 15 goals for loving Sunderland in each of his past 2 seasons, and it was on a free to boot

they'll pay £10m for a proven pl striker who can still hack it, it's a bargain imo

Didn't Chelsea recall due to being out of defenders and then play him three times in 5 months? Either way that seems like a lot of money for someone who was going to be out of contract next year and only played 13 matches last year.

Arsenal are going to sell something called a Kaylen Hinds to Wolfsburg for £2M. Jonker was his coach in the U21s so I guess that explains that one.

Alexis told the press he's made a decision about his future, but can't tell the press, presumably until the confederations cup is over.

So that's him off, then.

hadji murad

He was recalled which did hurt his development but at the same time he was brought back as cover in case there was an injury. As Chelsea were incredibly lucky with injuries all season it seems like a waste but a few knocks here and there it would have been worth having him around.

Andreas Christensen coming back into the squad makes him less necessary and if there is a buy back clause makes it seem like one of our less stupid recent transfers.

If they're spending £70m on 1 player, might as well re-approach Southampton about VVD. Generating goals isn't really the problem.

I think the idea is that's he's a Kante style midfielder who frees up a space for say Coutinho to nominally play midfield while doing no tackling, a la Fabregas

I assumed they were just going to sell him on for more money, but apparently the buyback clause has a provision that he can't be sold until next summer, and that Everton have the ability to buy him before anyone else.

“Right now, I am focused on the Confederations Cup. When this is finished, I will see if I stay or if I go. I don’t know. It’s clear [in my mind] but I can’t tell you anything.”

So he wants out, but doesn't know if Arsenal will let him leave. This is fake and gay.
