Before we engage we should hang back and study their tactics.
Now that Rucka's done with WW, I'm going to read through his run. How should I read it? Odd Issues, then even issues and finish with #25?

The stories are interwoven and have lots of parallels. I believe they were intended to be read in print order.

You could definitely read them apart, and the trades are even printing the stories separately, but the stories do relate to one another.

Yeah if you're gonna read the whole run anyway then you might as well read them in publishing order. Especially the later half of the run where they tie together a lot more, it'll be confusing if you don't.

Speaking of which: preview of Wonder Woman #26, with the new creative team.

If someone says it one more time I'm having Florina show up as a corpse. I'm not even kidding, I was pissed off with people doing that shit back in 2010, and I'm not dealing with it now in 2016.
I caught myself up on New-Superman and I'm really liking it. Although the solicits leading to issue 15 have me worried. Not that they wont be good issues, I'm just invested in the cast now.

I'm just glad I have copies of Day of Vengeance. I felt it was the best side story other than Secret Six going on through that poo poo show that was Infinite Crisis.

ShadowPact really went in a bit weird direction afterwards, along with it's costume changes.

Well that's a given. I almost guarantee if Hitler had become the artist he wanted and then started the Third Reich people would've been like "Oh the atrocities are bad, but look at this bowl of fruit he painted. He should be be forgiven."

Finished Nightwing Rebirth Vol. 2, great stuff, but I'm going to be disappointed if Nightwing's girlfriend has already been fridged.
Can anyone confirm/deny? Their date issue was terribly cute and made great use of dual-perspective flashbacks, as well as Nightwing's rolodex of allies making small talk with him while crimefighting.

vv Thanks for the replies, I panicked in the moment and maybe read the chronology of that issue wrong, I just didn't want to see a strong plot thread go to waste. vv

I thought that was implied at the end of issue 15? Issue 15 takes place about two months after the Back to Bludhaven storyline, and seemingly ends with her death. Since then the book has fleshed out what happened in their relationship in that two month period before she was seemingly killed.

I too think the oppression and slow obliteration of an extant population is worth an awesome Wonder Woman movie, but the one we got was a huge smelly turd whose continued critical success (it's obvious why the public is lapping it up) I chalk up to mass delusion

It's actually fine for a fill-in. It's not great, I think it's a lot of unnecessary drama. Clark doesn't have the voice you'd expect him to have. I mean it's not to the level of things before, but it's okay for $3

I'm probably the minority here, but I really enjoyed this issue. This is corny as hell, but I really relate to Superman now. As a husband who's own father is gone and trying to have a child of my own, I just relate to all the things that Clark goes through in trying to teach Jonathan. When I do have a son or a daughter, I can't just call up my dad to ask for advice, but I still have all the memories that I do. It just really speaks to me.

It's good! It's not great, but it's good. Terry's back, all the cast from the TV show is back, right now he's going up against Damian Wayne Beyond, who's a bit tricky of a character to put in, considering that he was created long after the show went off the air and his presence raises the obvious question of why the Batman legacy was allowed to go vacant for so long, but they've retconned him in very nicely in a way and a place that makes sense. The only thing I haven't liked so far is (spoiler for the end of Volume 1) the actual Joker being alive, because that misses the point so bad, but the rest of it has been good and I recommend it to fans of the show.
