I think Milan are really banking on Donnarumma renewing because they're going to loan Plizzari to Ternana after his contract is renegotiated. Don't know how I feel about that; I suspect this whole delay is more bullshitting from him and Raiola. I also suspect this entire summer is going to negatively affect his performances, especially since the curva will absolutely give him a mountain of poo poo the first time he steps on the pitch next season, no matter what shirt it's in.

Borja's got a contract for another 2 years (to 34), he's requesting a renewal at same salary as now until 2021, when he'll be 36. Corvino never wants to renew a 30+ player contract until last year, and then for one year max. So Borja's agent is looking for contracts from other teams; Inter seems to be keen on signing him for 4 years at his current salary. On the one hand, he's the "mayor" of Florence and I love him, but on the other hand, he's been in a decline for a year plus. Conflicted.

My two cents (like it matters) I think forcing him out is a bad idea. His decline could be attributed to Sousa. He is a lynchpin and for what we are selling him (not worth it for 5-7m imo) he is going to be hard to replace. He's the key passer and lies deeper. I know Corvino wants a more "autonomous" team and one that can function without the need for a captain. Still, forcing Valero out is a bullshit move. Let him ride out his contract at least.
