It may be a no-kill tournament, but you can certainly Frieza your opponent; it's Dragonball, everyone is crazy durable if they're not human I love how Old Kai sounds so fed up with Goku constantly letting his guard down

I love that neither Piccolo NOR Krillin thought to loving aim their attacks. Their attacks that ONLY work if they get a direct hit. Roshi at least has an actual beam. Tien dropped the regular solar flare. Wonder what he's going to think when Krillin shows off the Super Solar Flare though

I'm a little sad that B Team immediately grouped up to have less consiquential mini-fights just like the same group has, more or less, done since Dragonball. I was hoping for more solo action from some of those guys. Then again, this is the very first episode and a lot can still happen. Also 18 you ditched Krillin at the first opportunity, ice cold  Other observations - I'm surprised the furries actually held their own, was expecting them to job immediately. Also as interesting as Jiren is I really hope they can stop sucking Goku's cock long enough to give the side characters and new enemies time to breathe. So far so good, but I'd be happy with even less Goku Time. The sumo pig was fun and that orc looked like it was teleported in from Orgrimmar. Also Caulifla's voice actress is incredible  I'm glad that this tournament is clearly running on Namek Time because there are so many entertaining characters! Goku doesn't want to hurt innocent people and doesn't want to kill his opponents if he doesn't have to, but he loves battle and is motivated to it to a fault. That's his tragic flaw. To be fair, Poison wolf tied with Dad Form Gohan, Bergamo jobbed against Goku and Basil jobbed against Majin Buu, and even then he pushed him into getting serious which counts as an achivement in a way. By no accounts were they weak, they just got pitted against some of the strongest of U7. Not every warrior from the Tournament is Gohan/Majin Buu level.

I wouldn't doubt that he would just constantly forget to delete the bad universes for eternity of someone didn't have the guts to try and remind him. So the massive alteration of history only really extends as far as there being no one more powerful than Trunks on earth, so Babidi gets there much later and gets his rear end handed to him because there's not Vegeta to control and summon Buu. There's also no SSG, so Beerus never shows up. Because of that, Zen-oh never gets involved and he instead continues to gently caress around and not do anything of note until Goku comes along and summons him to take care of Zamasu. There's no reason to think this separate timeline at all affected anyone outside of U7 up until the Zamasu saga, considering none of the events that were changed had any relevance to anyone outside of it.

Look, this is all moot. It's canon that whatever happens after history changes has no bearing on the timeline the time traveller came from, and it's a fundamental element of the Cell saga. Zen-oh's will has nothing to do with any of it, especially considering creating the alternate timeline caused an alternate version of Zen-oh to exist.
