It's like it's all meant to be like that to allow for the hero ship to look unique and cool against a backdrop of more drab stuff. It's like you'd see all these ships landed at a Star Wars cantina, slightly blurred in the background, with the Millennium Falcon taking center stage. It's not that it's bad art, it just feels like background art.
