Durant's short term contracts last summer and this summer don't alter the Warriors' window of contention. I'll be honest. I don't understand the actual precise impact yet. I'll wait for the capologists to speak up. I was just speculating about why he would do it - to delay the break up of the team core for a year or two I imagine.

Also, if you helped the shoe company that employs you seriously damage a rival, and you know they're going to make up the contract money you're giving up in hope of more rings, you probably aren't worried about much, other than small bones of the foot injuries

Who gives a gently caress if they technically manage other employees or not, they are paid hundreds of millions largely thanks to their genetic luck. Regardless, I'm sure they will all invest their money in other ventures and become.... (gasp) capital!!!! I get that we're desperate to use our worthless college degrees for something besides kindling but there are far more interesting things to talk about Like how much Jaylen Brown is killing it at the moment

On one hand I appreciate other GMs not giving in and actually pulling off trades and signings to try and compete with the warriors. On the other hand lol the league is so hosed KD is willing to perform bitch move after bitch move to ensure the team he joined stays intact so he can cruise to easy titles.
