SAIYUKI RELOAD BLAST is incredibly stupid and has cute smelly boys who get it bloody fights. I enjoyed it but it's not like, actually good lol It's apparently a part of a franchise that goes way back to the 90s, kinda retro feeling.

The old anime series was ugly as sin though, so it's nice that this current series actually reflects Minekura's style a bit better.

Just finished up Fukumenkei Noise. Story-wise it's rather standard shoujo drama fare, and it does close on an "only the end of the beginning" note. However I did like the designs and the music, in general all performance and rehearsal parts seemed well executed to me, and in particular the concert in the final episode was really cool. It did have some cheap-looking CG, but not too distracting.

I'm glad it didn't turn out to be bad, because "shoujo + rock music" is a cool idea and I want to finish watching it sometime.

Is it, though? I've got about the same number of shows I'm interested in as last season, but it looks like Crunchyroll hardly got any of them. Restaurant in Another World was decent but not amazing, Aoyama was more entertaining than expected, and I plan on watching Centaur's Worries but jeez they're looking at slim pickings if they didn't even get the next season of NG+
