reading hegel before marx is cool, but remember you need to read kant and fichte before hegel, and hume and liebniz before kant...

but really it's cool to get a view of the background to and connections between thinkers, but hegel is an absolute ordeal of a writer and also an idealist numpty so i wouldn't read the whole philosophy of right or something before tackling the much more approachable marx, rather than a good summary or piece of secondary literature. i'm gonna go back to hegel when i have more knowledge and more specific questions.

oh cool, it seems I got some reading to do on this. when I talked about "true" BCI I was talking about my ultimate aim, which is to use BCI to bypass damaged brain areas by routing the neural inputs through a simulation of those areas and then back in. But I suppose that's still ways off.
