451 Imperial Calender, 75 of the Turkiye Calendar. After twelve years of peace, the expansionist Balt-Rhein Empire threatens to go at war against their neighbours of the Turkiye Stratocracy. Tughril Mahmud, the youngest man to become a Pasha now struggles to stop what might become a catastrophic battle between the two powers that threatens to engulf the entire continent. I honestly didn't knew this was getting an adaptation until two weeks ago and I was really excited by it! The manga is legit one of the best and prettiest ones I've ever read, with really good and unique character and clothing designs, several well-defined characters which have their own ambitions and goals and an incredible look for historical detail and culture or the early renaissance countries despite being a fictional setting (huge kudos for the scanlation group as well for pointing several of those btw). It's airing on Amazon Prime so you should definitely watch it and read the manga!

The first episode was a good hook. I typically never notice stuff like this but the costume design is really, really good. And I hope the dancer lady becomes a main character

Doesn't fix every problem with the service but it's at least a step toward being tolerable.

Now I'm going to be disappointed if every major problem in the series isn't solved with eagles in increasingly bizarre ways.

Divan: "You solved this problem with loving bird magic, Mahmut. It doesn't count and you're demoted." Zaganos: "They're right but your bird magic is super cool. Let's be pals."

I think you mean: Zaganos: "I loving hate you Mahmut. Here let me give you this spy ring that the Empire has just uncovered so that when they're all killed I can claim you're an incompetant or a traitor!"

Judging by the map they seem to represent all of northeast Europe condensed into one tiny and poor coastline. Based on my extensive study of Europa Universalis they didn't seem to correspond to a specific nation the way the merchant city state was really obviously Venice. EDIT: Also, put another in the "problem solved and lives saved by birds" column. Sindai fucked around with this message at 07:11 on Oct 21, 2017 |
