It's MTG rather than DND. They're representative characters from each of the guilds on Ravnica, a vaguely eastern-European setting. Each guild corresponds to a color pair. Eg, the first one is Azorious (White/Blue). I like them a lot!

Yeah they're cool alright. The Golgari one is 2spooky for me but that may be because I just finished watching Season 1 of True Detective.
