The great thing about the thousands of slaughtered Palestinian children is that they can't pull away when you fondle them or sniff their hair.

That's a Biden success story.

This makes the false assumption that Hannity ever worked.

Both are fairly hosed up, I just want to know in what precise way it is hosed up.

In private, Fred Koch “ruled the house with an iron fist” and faith in social Darwinism. Schulman recounts how the former boxer encouraged his sons to fight each other, sometimes with horrifying results. “During one bout, Bill bashed his twin over the head with a polo mallet,” Schulman writes. And “David still bears a scar from the time Bill pierced him in the back with a ceremonial sword.” Those early lessons left a deep imprint on the brothers.

Pages back, but I think it has been a happy surprise to people from some countries that the government of the United States still functions when the President does not.

A lot of non-United States people I've met have been surprised at how little power the President of the United States actually has, that a lot of the powers of the US President are more customary than actual powers. And that congress and the courts and the laws curtail the US President as much as they do.

So...depending on what will happen, I think that people might be happy that we can survive the worst.

Yea, there is a good chance that what Trump actually does is not so much harm the US, but harm the reputation and prestige of the US Presidency, which isn't that big of a deal as long as the US GOVERNMENT ITSELF gets back to a functional and beneficial entity for the people. The last several Presidencies have made the Executive far too powerful than the other branches and it needs some trimming as we are finding out with King Dipshit in the position now. We also need to destroy the Republican Party in its entirety, but that's a whole nother matter.

Also bringing up a several pages back post, I can now see Trump berating and shaming his family on his deathbed when they're all circling him for whatever inheritance they may get. A whole lot of "none of you are as great and as big as me" bullshit and losing his train of thought constantly before basically burying himself with his money because "i earned it, you all mooched your way off ME" in the ultimate spin of irony.

the Koch bros are hosed up. There are actual three Koch bros, but the ones throw around all this dark money are the 2nd and 3rd sons. The eldest son got blackmailed by them and got his inheritance screwed/got a slightly smaller giant pile of money because he was probably gay.

Imagine, if you will, a world where California had 1,304 congressional representatives and 1306 electoral collage votes while Wyoming had 19 and 21 votes (based on the original congressional apportionment of one rep per 30,000 citizens), instead of the world we're living in where California has 53/55 and Wyoming has 1/3.

pre:
              @30k/rep          @435 locked
            house elect | house elect
california 1304 1306 | 53 55

ratio 68.6 62.2 | 53.0 18.3

A bigger issue is actually the winner take all nature of the electoral college. If every state got a number of electoral votes equal to their population, Donald Trump still would have won:

pre:
Sum of populations of Dem states: 134982448
Sum of populations of Rep states: 173763090
(This doesn't take into account Maine / Nebraska not being quite winner-take-all under the current system, but that just makes it worse since DJT won part of Maine (which went blue as a whole) and all of Nebraska.)

Gist if anyone wants to play with the numbers themselves.

It's not the right wing media's willingness to run bits like this that grinds my gears, but the the ready acceptance of the intended audience. I have a acquaintance who voted for Trump, and over the weekend I asked him what his opinions were about Trump and family's weird not-blind-trust thing, a safeish topic I guess. His answer, and I quote word for word - "Well, Obama was a socialist." So then we talked about the weather.
