Three-Phase posted:That looks like the horse in that old Looney Tunes Wagnerian opera thing. Like The Ring of the Nibelung. Yeah, he's the platonic ideal of Majestic Horse. I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if a hatch opened on his tummy and Hoplites poured out. Edit: I sent this to my mom. She replied that Dad googled it and found an article saying his favorite thing was to steal candy. Blue Footed Booby has a new favorite as of 02:58 on Jul 11, 2017 |

I imagine the horse didn't do the old 'nose in pocket' thing, but instead would walk right through the window of candy stores and eat everything while the owners cowered in a corner.

Was in DC visiting a friend last week. Went to the zoo there in hopes of seeing a red panda but had no such luck. I did see lots of other cute stuff but I liked this frog in particular:

Not just a cutie, but a heckin' good insult. You son of a screaming hairy armadillo! Your mother smelled of elderberries and your father was a screaming hairy armadillo. Despite all my rage, I'm still a screaming hairy armadillo in a cage.

What's up zoo buddy Screaming Hairy Armadillo sounds like a gyfcat url. I must've missed that particular one, but they had this little guy out: I think they said he was 18 or so years old and they still used him to breed so good on ya Oldmandillo.

Kavak posted:Why was there so much trouble with introducing her to her family? Was she rejected by her mother? From what I understand she was born fairly premature and needed 24 hour care to survive. She's fine now but those first few months could have turned bad fast, but thankfully she's at the normal baby hippo pace.
