There's an interesting thread through the show about the 'kids' pretending to be something they're not. Donna, Audrey and Bobby all play act at being someone else and it never really works out that well. Also, I realised that outside of Cooper, Donna is the one who does the most legwork on the Laura Palmer case. James stays James though because he's always been cool.

The Jerry scene has special meaning to me 'cos once in '92 or so my parents were out of town & I had the whole gang over (about 12 ppl) & we all dropped acid & at one point I was digging in to my shoe (while wearing it) with some sort of tool and explaining to my friends that I was expecting to find someone else's foot in there.
