Guilty Gear definitely has more interesting character designs than this I also like how these games have to come up with new words for "Round" and "Fight"

Honestly even with the anime looks the same blze blue characters don't look like normal anime characters either. Doujin characters in school uniforms do tend to look the same, but i don't get that here at all.

Is there a good place for news round ups from Evo? Like Arika's Fighting Layer EX was apparently named and I didn't even realize, and I know SNK was teasing stuff before the event but I haven't seen if that was anything

I thought most of the original BBCT characters were super boring, there's bootleg Sol/Ky/Pot, a robot samurai, gothic lolita vampire, that guy from Spirited Away, and Literally Just Strider From Strider, but I actually like some of the newer ones even thought I very much prefer GG.

If the 3 sword girls were on screen I'd entirely understand the criticism though, but the rosters pretty huge now. and very few read the same to me. But I play it  guilty gears is just as anime prefer it or not, and personally I've found their recent designs kinda weaker, Like answer felt entirely phoned in.
