I liked McKenna a lot, for the brief time we got to spend with her. She was a civilian, but as a cop, it seemed like she could have handled Oliver and his crazy world back then in Season 1, before it was as insanely comic-booky as it is now. It helped that Janina Gavankar is one of the most gorgeous women I've ever seen, even among the ridiculously beautiful women in all the Berlantiverse shows. I'm sure she won't return, though.

Well, every other character on the show besides Ollie has full sleeve costumes. Clearly Dinah and Ollie will be a romance next season, at which point Ollie will piss her off, they'll break up, and they'll spend a couple of seasons being really awkward.

Even though 90% of that trailer was S5, what we saw of S6 was really well shot. Like so unlike most of the last few seasons, but I'm guessing they just used a lot of their best looking shots for the trailer. Also, where's the goatee?

James Bamford was promoted this year and said he's been trying to give the show a more movie like cinematography feel.

ALTERNATELY Oliver and a Canary, but you can't tell which, are sparring in low light so you only get their silhouettes. Oliver dodges a high kick, but gets caught with a left jab and knocked to the floor. He raises his hands in submission, then flips back his hood revealing the beard. Then he says "So much for the tolerant left" LOGO You never find out which Canary it is so that maybe the internet will shut up. They won't though.

They just stopped using them completely around season 3 and decided that fight scenes in uninteresting flat-surface, dimly lit spaces was good enough and it's not. The best fight scene of all of last season was the one between Ollie and Adrian with about 4 episodes left when they're just going crazy on each other and smashing through walls and poo poo. Give the fights at least some gravity. Warehouses are just poo poo cinematically.

I never said it was a lovely show or that I would never watch it, I said quote:the pilot was not good so I have yet to get back to that show. So gimmie some time, I still got 7 seasons of Supernatural to wrap up.
