Sydin posted:Yeah probably. Maybe Danny sends Yara down to Dorne to try and forge an alliance just in time for Euron to roll up or something. The dorne alliance is already forged via the teleporting Varys who forged it and returned back to Dany's fleet all in one episode to end Season 6. The splitting forces makes sense as to how Euron captures Yara but just wondering where she'd split them to.

Nah, she needs to grow up and realize that your enemies are people like you and me and yet you still have to kill them to get what you want in a brutal rear end world. (Note, this is only my attitude towards the fictional Westeros world and NOT how I view how to act in the real world)

The Hound's and Arya's scene offer a good narrative contrast. The Hound feels sorry for the death of the family that welcomed him in their house and fed him and regrets his actions. Arya berated the Hound for his actions, and yet now apparently she will kill the soldiers that invited her to their fire and fed her.

I'm curious what Beric's role is in the story going forward. They had to have some significant reason for bringing him back after so long, and he's permanently dead in the books and I can't think of anyone who's story he could be taking over so...

Without him, The Hound's story is currently very light on actual characters since it's him, Beric and Thoros. And a bunch of nameless dudes.

Someone has to teach Zombie Jon how to do the fire blood trick, then the White Walkers will kill him.

Nothing stood out to be as particularly bad but also there was nothing to be bad because nothing loving happened. If every episode of this short season is that way then even the show won't get an ending

But after reading the spoilers months ago and in this first episode Sam encounters Jorah out of nowhere in Oldtown I can't see them not being true, at least for that plotline.

Pretty good episode, setting things up for the season. Reminded me a lot of earlier GoT except for Arya being Frey on stilts? I dunno why but the Archmaester hooting about memory and history was lolly compelling also the poo poo montage personally I rate this ep 4/5 chamberpots

Euron said in some interview I was too high reading at the time and forget where from that he's going to be a worse villain then Ramsay, as in despised. With only a dozen episodes left I hope that's not the case cause they'd really have to ramp up the torture porn or some bullshit quickly. I guess he could rape and behead Arya or something but that's way too tryhard. Hopefully he don't do poo poo.

Everything twisted or morally ambiguous Tyrion, Jon or Daenerys did in the books was completely scraped in the case of the former 2, or played with fanfare BGM to lead the viewer into believing it was ok in the case of the latter. Those 3 characters are untouchable in the show, at least till the very last 2 episodes of the final season.
