Pretty much half of FEAR. There's also another song in there somewhere that benefits from a cut.

Whatever the gently caress they're called, man. It's not the loving whole song itself, simply excerpts.

Those excerpts are way worse than the skits on TPaB.

floating 26" off da ground. BURR!
Scum gently caress Flower Boy reminds me of Hell Hath No Fury. I remember putting that CD in after work and just being like "this is significant." I don't know. I just can't think of an album as clear in its message, positive POV, and unique sound to the rest of the landscape in recent memory. I just really enjoy listening to it and it makes me happy.

We are the Invisible Spatula. We are the Grilluminati. We eat before and after dinner. We eat forever. And eventually... eventually we will lead them into the dining room.
I shamefully have to admit that I like Tyler's more immature and darker material, but he's definitely developed a huge amount as an artist. I appreciate the skill that Scumfuck is made with, but I only really keep coming back to "Who dat Boi?"

On a mostly unrelated note, I really wish Earl wasn't so hosed up.

When who dat boy dropped I was like drat the production is tremendous but he's still too aggressive for me. I'm glad that's the only song like that on the album and that his songwriting has risen to the level his production has.

Any of you other giggledicks in LA & going to FYF?

Finally didn't gently caress up and watched Anderson .Paak's set at festival. He & the Free Nationals go so loving hard live. I was laughing though, they played Suede about halfway through the set & afterwards a lot of people left.

Bjork was great too, though with her trademark costume I could see her being able to pull off an MF DOOM stunt double thing.

And of course my daughter spots Kevin Abstract walking past on our way to Bjork's set. He's a good dude. Stopped and chatted with us for 10-15 minutes.

Also, re who's on (or above) Kendrick/Lupe/Mike's level? That old dude that's on your mom's TV every night and still outshines every emcee he's on a track with. This was probably the best verse of 2016

Also, I like Lupe a lot, but he doesn't belong in that conversation.

If you haven't seen this, Black Thought & J.Period did a live mixtape at The Roots Picnic this year about a week before Prodigy passed. Fat Joe and Mobb Deep were guests, it's great (for something shot from the crowd)

Listen to the cool.

I like when rappers can rap over eccentric beats, it shows they are confident in their skill to carry a song with lyrics. His vocabulary and ability to rhyme those words is beyond impressive.
